Peter's first steps on the path of words and literature echoed in the halls of his schools. Story writing came considerably easier to him than maths or Greek. Having developed his style writing for the schoolpaper and later his own monthly magazine 'The Dead Bird', Peter arrived at writing articles and stories for serious magazines.

One such stories, written in episodes, became his autobiography 'Incidentally', about the why of cricises in one's life. The book, published in Dutch, is still being sold and appreciated 18 years down the road. An English translation will be published in 2007.

On issues such as yoga, spirituality and society, health and Yogananda, Peter wrote numerous articles, published in magazines, newsletters and newspapers. Next to that, he edited a book of short stories "Always right", and translated 'A Language of Light', mystic poems of his friend Grace, and the 500+ pages of Swami Kriyananda's autobiography 'The Path'.

A collection of Peter's, 'Short stories, long stories, no stories and other stories', was published in 2004, and contains what the title suggests.

For two years, starting early 2005, Peter wrote weekly BoB-letters to subscribers. BoB being short for Peter's aka Brother of Beauty.

Peter's prose is recognisable by the combination of speed, depth and humour.
