Grace PDF Print E-mail
"Once I wrote a story about meeting my muse. It was a fantasy; the kind of story I write in order to learn from it or to get to know myself. Six months later, following the advice of friends, I sat in a meditation room somewhere in the hills around Assisi, waiting for a satsang with some American saint. 'If it doesn't help, it doesn't hurt', I reasoned. When Grace came in however, I was stunned. For in her appearance, clothes, energy and way of walking, she was exactly the woman I had described in my story.
To cut a long story short: after the satsang I asked for a private meeting. Which turned out to be one of the more memorable moments of my life. In the weeks after it I felt full of energy, and confident I would be able to do what I need to do in this lifetime. I wrote poetry and sang with a new quality in my voice.
When I left, I let her know that if she ever came to Holland, I'd be most willing to help organize activities. She reacted happily surprised, and told me she had felt a desire to go to Holland for some time but didn't know anybody there."

During her tour through Europe, she came to Holland in 2005. She gave a satsang, a weekend retreat and private healings, and read her mystic poetry in programs with Talia Marcus and myself. I had put all my streetcredibility on the line and promised my friends back home the world. They got it.

In 2008 they got it again. And if I can lure her away from her semi-permanent seclusion on her sacred Mount Shasta, she'll be back in 2010.
